自転車楽しすぎてMTBにとどまらずロードバイクにも手を出してしまった。
フツーに遊び行く手段として
日々のトレーニングマシンとして
大活躍間違いなしっ！！
Biking is so much fun that I’ve gone beyond mountain biking and gotten into road cycling too.
It’s sure to be great both as a way to get out and play and as a daily training machine!!
昨日の話です
上越はgroovy international社 白倉代表のアテンドで、ローカルトレイル
＊地元のMTB愛好家の皆様で地域貢献しつつも整備している山道
を走らせていただきました。
メンツ
雪
斜面
ぜーーんぶ最高のパウダーを滑ったときの高揚感と同じくらいの最高な瞬間。
苦労して何かを達成したときに感じるあの高揚感。
ローカルのMTBライダーさんに、ローカルのみなさんが大事に整備して走ってきた道を案内してもらうというお互いのMTBライダーとして社会人としての信頼の上でのみ成り立つ行為
もちろんガイドブックなんて野暮なもんには載ってるわけがないとっておきの道
自分自身トレイルの整備に汗を流しているからこそ(楽しんでやっているが)感じることができるありがたみ。
そして新たな出逢い。コミュニケーション。
最高の地形。バンク。里山の緑。夏草を刈った跡。
すべてが合わさって最幸の高揚感を感じることができました。
コツコツ毎日練習したりパーツ組み合わせてあーでもないこーでもないってカチャカチャいじくって
ひっとつもうまくいかんけど、別に誰にも褒められないし褒められても別に嬉しくないけど
ちょっとづつ良くなってく感じを実感するのが好きすぎて続けて
MTBを始めて続けてきて本当によかったなとまたまた実感。
この興奮物質が分泌される瞬間の累積時間は、生涯蓄積したらいったい何秒？何分かわかりませぬが
この蓄積時間こそが我が人生の価値！
あの世へ行く瞬間
こういった最高の瞬間がフラッシュバックするんだなと昨日あの最高の瞬間に直感したぜぃ
まさしく昇天！Happyな瞬間
これからもどんどんHappy瞬間を蓄積していかないとな！！人生の意味だなこれは！
まだまだスキーもMTBもライドするぞー！
仕事ももちろん頑張るよ（笑）
ビジネスで手抜かずに全力で苦労して達成する瞬間もめっちゃ最高気持ちいいしね！
当たり前だからいつも言わんけど最近MTBのことしか投稿してないから一応な。
This is about yesterday.
With Shiraoka, representative of Joetsu-based groovy international, guiding us, I got to ride local trails—mountain paths that local mountain bikers maintain while contributing to their community.
The people, the snow, the slopes—everything came together in a moment as incredible as skiing the very best powder.
It was that same exhilaration you feel when you accomplish something after working hard for it.
Being shown a trail that local riders have carefully built and maintained is something possible only through mutual trust—as mountain bikers and as members of society. Of course, a special trail like this would never appear in a guidebook. Because I also spend time working on trails myself (and enjoy doing it), I can really appreciate how fortunate it is to ride here.
New encounters and conversations. Amazing terrain, berms, green hillsides, and traces of summer grass that had been cut. All of it combined into the most wonderful feeling of excitement.
I love practicing a little every day and tinkering with parts, trying this and that. Things never go quite right, and I don’t need anyone to praise me; even when they do, it doesn’t matter much. I simply love noticing things gradually getting better. That’s why I keep going. Once again, I felt so glad that I started mountain biking and kept at it.
I can’t imagine how many seconds or minutes these moments of excitement add up to over a lifetime, but that accumulated time is the value of my life!
Yesterday, in that wonderful moment, it suddenly struck me: when I leave this world, these incredible moments will flash back before my eyes. It was truly uplifting—a Happy moment. I need to keep adding more and more Happy moments to my life. That’s what life is about!
I’ll keep riding skis and mountain bikes! And of course I’ll keep working hard too (lol). There’s nothing like giving everything to a tough business challenge and reaching the goal. I don’t usually say it because it goes without saying, but lately I’ve posted so much about mountain biking that I wanted to mention it.

ただ競技に良い成績をあげるなどということではなく
自由な自然の山地を走り、日常の仕事や疲れを回復し
心のわだかまりを取り去ることにある。ただ元に復するのではなく、身体を鍛え
精神的にも抵抗力を高めることにある。このために技術を習得し、ライディングを極めるのだ。
Mountain biking is not simply about achieving good results in competition.
It is about riding through open, natural mountains, recovering from the fatigue of everyday work, and letting go of what weighs on the mind. It is not merely about returning to one’s former state, but about strengthening the body and building mental resilience. That is why we learn the skills and work to master the ride.

20代のころアルペンルートで記念写真撮影のバイトをしていたころ、台湾の観光客さんが来たら「ワンタイ」とみんなでディスってごめんなさい。
親日国であること世界の自転車工場であること中国ではなく台湾国であることなど台湾を知れば知るほど好きになっとりますよ（笑）
That makes me happy.
When I was in my twenties and worked taking commemorative photos along the Alpine Route, whenever Taiwanese tourists came, we all mocked them by calling them “One-Tai.” I’m sorry.
The more I learn about Taiwan—its people’s affection for Japan, its role as a global bicycle manufacturing hub, and its identity as Taiwan rather than China—the more I’ve come to like it (lol).

アフターコロナ、これから盛り上がっていくパワーが感じられて元気をいただきました。
商工会で頑張って活躍する友人の姿や、懐かしい久しぶりの魚津メンツとも会えて、とても良い一日でした。

I was asked to film a festival in Uozu City with a drone.
After the pandemic, I could feel the energy of things beginning to liven up again, and it gave me a boost.
It was wonderful to see a friend working hard and thriving through the Chamber of Commerce, and to reunite with familiar faces from Uozu after such a long time.
I have so many friends in Uozu, and I love the city.

集落周辺の道にある雪で倒れた木を勝手に掃除。
これだけで一年分の薪は余裕で確保できます。
里山はエネルギーの宝庫です。
涼しい５月のうちに一年分を全て終わらせるっ

It’s firewood-splitting season ^_^
I’m clearing the trees knocked down by snow along the roads near the village.
This alone is enough to secure a year’s worth of firewood.
The satoyama hills are a treasure trove of energy.
I’m going to finish the whole year’s supply while May is still cool.
