A Ski Hike in Otari Village and a Rental Gear Pickup

We set off from Yamada Ryokan and walked along a gentle uphill trail. It is a lovely, easy walk.

A convex traffic mirror! Do I look suspicious? (laughs)

With good weather, this is the best!

After about an hour of walking, beech trees began to appear. Beech forests really are beautiful! Ski hiking makes it easy to reach them.

On the way back, we simply skied down—back in no time. That is one of the great perks of ski hiking. Being able to make a snowplow turn is all you need.

I also picked up gear for our rental fleet. That was today’s work (laughs). Now we can bring lots of customers into the world of ski hiking! We look forward to your reservations.
