Telemark Ski Lessons
Lesson fee: ¥3,000 (introductory trial price)
Regular prices:
One person: ¥5,000
Group of two: ¥4,000 per person
Group of three: ¥3,000 per person
Groups of four or more: please ask.
Lessons are private. A full set of rental equipment is available for ¥2,000 per day.
These lessons are for people who have equipment but are unsure how to use it; those who ski on their own and want feedback; anyone who wants to learn a less tiring way to ski; those who want skiing skills for safe travel in the mountains; and anyone who wants to enjoy telemark skiing as a snow sport.
Ski Hiking Experience Tour
Popular! Two hours with rental equipment and a guide: ¥3,000 (trial price; normally ¥5,000).
Even if you have never skied before, you can enjoy a relaxed, easy experience.
If skiing is not your strength, ski hiking—where you walk on skis—is easy to try. A short walk from Awasuno Ski Area brings you to scenery like this. I will teach you carefully at your own pace, so this is recommended even for first-time visitors to snowy mountains, people who are not sporty, and anyone unsure of their stamina.
What to bring for your first snowy-mountain outing: Please contact us if you need advice about the equipment required for the snow.
